little fingerprints

Super cute and easy to make.

Livi loved these.  Simple, quick and effective.  We used small individual water-paint discs, just big enough for a finger tip. Keep a cloth at hand to wipe fingers clean after each coloured print.  Dab your finger in a bowl of water and smudge your finger in your colour of choice. And stamp, and stamp, and stamp. Tie all your fingerprint stamps together with some pen lines, and you have a bunch of balloons!

Caterpillars are even easier.... A row of green fingerprints, scribble an eye, a mouth, and lots of tiny feet.

With cardboard  we made gift cards, gift tags, bookmarks and covers for little notebooks.
We had quite a productive morning, and ended up with quite a pile of fingerprinted goodies, enough to keep for future gifts and some to sell at our garden market later that day.
